- Photographing Intimate Wedding Stories In Charlotte And Beyond Since 2015 -

Hiring a documentary photographer allows you to capture genuine moments in an authentic and artistic manner. Unlike traditional posed photography, documentary photography focuses on candid shots that tell a compelling story through the details and emotions of your event. A skilled documentary photographer will blend into the background, ensuring that your memories are preserved without interference, allowing you to relive the essence of your experience for years to come. This approach creates a timeless narrative that is both personal and evocative, making your photographs truly one-of-a-kind.

“We Love Candid Wedding Photography, but Really Want Group Shots??”

Although I will photograph the majority of your wedding completely hands off and candid, I still understand that some posed formal shots with family and friends is important to people. For my couples that decide they would like to include these, we will set 20-30 minutes out of your wedding day for formal shots. Although I specialize in candid documentary photography, I have seen more than my share of posed/group shots. In fact, the majority of the 400 plus weddings I’ve photographed included formal shots.
